What a package runs

Typical hours, typical totals.

Hours depend on whose standard the package follows and how deep the scope goes — these are the ranges most packages land in.

Scroll the table sideways to compare

Questions

Before you ask.

Why hourly rather than a fixed price per drawing?

Because two packages that look identical on a list rarely take the same hours — scope, standards and detail level move the number. A fixed price has to hide padding to cover that spread. An hour range quoted up front gives you the same clarity, and you only ever pay for hours drawn.

Can you provide sealed drawings?

Not in-house — we are a drafting studio, not the architect or engineer of record. But when a package needs a seal we can arrange it through licensed partners and get it moving for you: in Florida, structural sets are sealed through our FL-licensed engineer, quoted per project.

What counts as a scope change?

Anything that changes the deliverable rather than correcting it. Fixing a dimension we got wrong is ours. Adding a sheet, changing a layout after sign-off, or re-drawing to a revised brief is a change — priced for time and schedule impact, and approved by you in writing before we start.

Do you charge for the standards intake week?

Setting up your title block, layers, templates and plot styles is billed as time, and it is usually a few hours rather than a week. It happens once. Every package after that starts from it.

What if the estimate turns out to be wrong?

You'll hear from us before we pass the top of the quoted range, not after — with what's left and why, so the decision stays yours while there is still a decision to make.
